□ In this art festival, we are moving to create another world where both creators and creatures can gather together and enjoy a 10-day art festival.

By comparing contemporary artists of different genres to heteromorphic creatures lurking in today’s society and also by likening the Hozanji area to an alien world, we aim to present a temporary community, where we can refine our sensitivity, facilitate the exchanges and cooperation with one another in a reluxed style, respecting and sharing different values of other people.

We are preparing a several evening or nighttime events during the run of 10 days, because the HOZANJI area offers some accomodations for travelers, so we think we’d better focus on most of our attention on our guests enjoying both our events and all-day sightseeing around the Hozanji area, which is always filled with a kind of animistic and holy atmosphere.

  • SIMONE FUKAYUKI

is a drag queen chanson singer whose career began in 1980’s.

He/She loves bizarrerie, sensuality and fruitless results from love, and is famous for his/her staging act using Deus Ex Machina.

His/Her ingenious act based on orthodox Romanticism and anti-realism will make a vivid impression on the audience.

He/She is also noted as a party organizer, stage director, columnist, and horror watcher and so on. The entertainment party “Diamonds Are Forever”, which has continued for 25 years, is a more than 100-time event.

  • SAEKI Mayumi  (ex.Afrirampo)

is a singing accoustic guitarist who sings her love songs for all people and the universe. Especially after delivery, she has come to write and sing her songs and play the guitar as if she was playing mother. She is a master of both soft murmurs and heartfelt screams, so she will add a little spice to your life.

  • PIKA☆ (ex.Afrirampo)

is an-ex drummer and vocalist of a skull-piercing rock group “Afrirampo” formed by herself. The band, which was formed in Osaka, debuted in the major music world with its recording released in 2004. But then the group returned to the indies music scene and was broken up later.

She herself is still active in the music world as a solo singer, and a member of different music units or sessions. In addition to such activities as a musician, she is a founder of “TAIYO33OSAKA”, a project on energy affairs after the monumental disaster of the 311 earthquake.
